Use a fixed offset when all captions are early or late by the same amount. Positive milliseconds delay captions; negative milliseconds advance them. This tool changes matching timestamps in pasted text.
Positive values delay captions; negative values advance them. Times stop at zero.

How to use
1. Paste the subtitlesPaste SRT or VTT text containing timestamps such as 00:00:01,000 or 00:00:01.000.
2. Set the offsetEnter whole milliseconds: 500 delays by half a second; -500 advances by half a second. The result updates immediately.
3. Review and copyCheck the first and last cues, copy the output, and save it with your text editor before testing playback.
Examples
Delay by 500 ms
Input
00:00:01,000 --> 00:00:04,000
Output
00:00:01,500 --> 00:00:04,500
Advance by 500 ms, stopping at zero
Input
00:00:00.250 --> 00:00:02.000
Output
00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:01.500
Common use cases
Correct a constant audio/subtitle delay.
Align a subtitle track before merging it with another language.
Edge cases
Matches timestamps with 1–2 hour digits, 2 minute and second digits, and 1–3 fractional digits. Short VTT timestamps such as 01:02.500 are not supported.
This is a text timestamp shifter, not a full subtitle parser: matching timestamps in dialogue are also changed. It cannot fix timing drift that grows during playback.
Commas or dots and the WEBVTT header are retained. Line endings become LF and fractions become three digits; negative results become zero.
Features
